Oops, ended up posting this quite late on in the evening. In all fairness, I normally post late in the evening anyway, I'm just noticing it more today because I have had the laziest day ever. I've got a lot of time off work this week and I'd planned to use it very productively. Today, I was meant to be having a huge wardrobe clearout, ready to either donate things to my sisters or charity, or sell some things on eBay. After that, I planned to finally get a move on with that elusive clothes shop I mentioned when I first started this blog, and can be seen mentioned in the top navigation bar. However, I woke up way before I was ready to and was unable to get back to sleep, so my super productive day has literally turned into me reading my book (Caitlin Moran's Moranthology - very good!) and FINALLY getting my BlogLovin down to zero. Since Google Reader announced its closure and then Hellocotton went too (still so sad about this!) I have transferred ALL the blogz I read, including the ones I'd only dip in and out of usually, onto BlogLovin. I hope now I'm top of it I will remain on top of it, we shall see. Now that I've removed distractions like getting up to date with all my blog reading, I'm hoping I'll find the motivation to work on my clothing line again. I don't know what's wrong with me, as I was so excited about it months ago, but since I bought all the supplies I needed and started making a practice item, I've just lost all motivation to do it. Part of me just wants to give up and just pretend I never mentioned making my own clothes but then deep down, I know I really want to do this and that once I start, I won't be able to stop. I just need to get going in the first place! Maybe I'll catch up on YouTube videos first...

Aaaaaanyway, onto the outfit! Unless you're one of the lucky few who don't live in an area that was hit by the snow, it will no doubt surprise you to see the snow in these pictures that I took a few weeks ago. My original snowy shoot failed a little bit, and admittedly, I didn't even manage to stay outside for all of this shoot, but at least I finally got some outfit pictures in the snow.My outfit was surprisingly warm. The layers must have really worked and my Topshop fox scarf is absolutely the best for keeping me toasty. My Doc Martens are a cold weather essential, especially now I can finally wear them with minimal pain. Not only do they keep me warm but their grip is second to none on those horrible icy pavements.

Sadly, I did have to creep back inside to get pictures of the outfit underneath my coat and even inside I didn't really want to remove my cardi! The outfit is really a very simple one, but I think my Primark skirt always makes what would otherwise be a rather boring outfit a little more interesting. For me though, it's the accessories that make this outfit. I love my little collection of fox related jewelry and I was absolutely delighted to add this felt sleepy fox brooch from Polkadot Dreams to my collection. I'm going to do a full post about it soon as it's just that amazing, but I will mention that I actually won this in a giveaway. I was so ecstatic! I think he looks really cute perched on the lapel of my tapestry jacket.

Did you get the snow where you lived? Are you seeing warmer weather now? I am! Yay!
