Oh wow, after writing that list out I couldn't help but think "jesus, I wear SO MUCH makeup!" It never feels like I've got that much on and considering how much I use it doesn't even take me that long to get ready but seeing it all laid out like that is quite alarming. I suppose for a night out though, this amount of products isn't really excessive, right?! Because that's exactly what this FOTD (FOTN!) is, my first makeup look featured on the blog intended for the night time. I wore this a few weeks ago when I went out for the first time in ages and realised that I had seriously missed my party life style. As a result I vowed to start going out more often and documenting my makeup when I do! Although I failed to do that this bank holiday weekend...oops! The one thing missing from this look is false eyelashes - I have some Katy Perry ones knocking around but just couldn't locate them this night *sadface*

So, after prepping my skin with the usual suspects like Freederm and my moisturiser of choice, I apply Benefit Porefessional to my face as it is the best at minimising pores and seriously helps the appearance and wear time of the rest of my makeup. I follow this with the Loreal Lumi Magique Primer as I love the radiance it adds to my face. I like to go with heavy duty foundation when I go out, so B. Flawless Complete Coverage Foundation sure does come in handy here. I apply a little bit of Benefit Boi-ing Concealer to my problem areas and then brush some Rimmel Stay Matte Powder across my T Zone. This time round, I seriously ummed and ahhed about what to put on my cheeks. Yes I knew I wanted blusher and highlighter but which ones?! I eventually settled on E.L.F Cream Blush in Seductress as it's a really dramatic pink colour that I'm bit scared of in the day time. Combined with the famous Benefit High Beam highlighter, I think I've found a winning combination here!

Eyes wise, it was an eeeaaasssyyyy choice. I was wearing one of my favourite Lipsy dresses (I promise I'll get a photograph of it one day!) and I always do my eye makeup like this when sporting this dress. I love the combination of Uzi and Bordello from my Urban Decay Book of Shadows III palette and for night time, I always finish my eyes off with a cat flick of eyeliner. Sadly, my liquid eyeliner has gone walkies, so my Urban Decay Glide On Eye Pencil had to jump in to save the day. These are such silky pigmented pencils, I adore them. Well - to be quite honest, I've yet to try anything from UD that I don't adore! As I mentioned, my lashes were nowhere to be found so a simply swipe of Rimmel Scandaleyes Mascara it was. Again, when it go to lipstick, I had no idea what to choose but eventually settled on E.L.F Lipstick in Seductive as although the pictures haven't picked it up, it really complimented my blusher.

Do you like to go to town on your makeup when it's time for a night out?
