Truth is, I used to love cooking. I could barely even make toast before I went to university and yet, by the time I left, I could cook anything I tried and it'd taste good too. One of my favourite things I learnt to cook is goat's cheese risotto and my initial idea for tonight's post was to make goat's cheese risotto, photograph it along the way and share it all with you tonight. However, truth is, I just don't cook anymore. I'm tired all the time, I can never be bothered to cook after work, and I just don't have any control over what food there is in the house anymore and slowly but surely, cooking has disappeared from my life. So, my goat's cheese risotto will not be making an appearance on the blog tonight sadly as I had a microwave curry instead, terrible I know. However, I didn't want to give up on #SBBC only 5 days into the challenge so instead, I'm going to share the top 5 recipes I've pinned on my Pinterest with you!

Warm Chorizo and Halloumi Salad (via Nouvelle Daily)

As much as I want to live a healthier lifestyle, I will never, ever be able to give up cheese and meat. In fact, I don't think I can even cut down on them - so seeing two of my favourite things -halloumi and chorizo in a salad recipe delights me!

Cheesy Zucchini Enchiladas (via Skinny Taste)

Like I said, I got a thing for cheese and I know cutting it out of my diet will never work, so adding zucchini to one of my favourite dishes sounds like an excellent compromise.

Mushroom Pizza Bites (via My P90x Nutrition Plan)

If I could marry pizza, I would, so the idea of an almost healthy pizza (you need an insanely small about of mushroom to get one of your five a day people) is like heaven to me.

Creamy Goat's Cheese Pasta (via Eat Your Books)

Yeah, you've probably guessed I can't get enough of goat's cheese either. Apparently I like mushrooms a lot too!

Zucchini Pasta with Teriyaki Salmon (via Season with Spice)

Salmon is a new discovery of mime. I've spent ages trying to like it and failing, but my boyfriend's dad cooked it for me last time I was there and now I think I finally like salmon, hooray! This looks divine. Salmon is really good for you as well so if I like it, I really should eat more.

So, here are just five of the recipes I'd try if I had the money, the energy and well, the time. Courgettes/zucchini make recurring appearance throughout this post which I found interesting however the amount of cheese was not at all shocking.

How do you feel about cooking? Have you got the same tastes as me? Are you hungry now? I think I am...
