Egyptians, mummies, tomb

I don't know when I first noticed the desire to travel. While my parents were still together we went on regular holidays to France and Benidorm and I absolutely loved it. Sadly these holidays slowly died out and I genuinely can't remember the last time I went abroad with one of my parents but what didn't die out was my need to see the world. Although I love France and Benidorm to pieces and would happily go there every year, I want to see everything, there are very few places on this Earth that I really wouldn't ever, ever go to given the opportunity. Since holidays abroad with my parents stopped happening, I've managed to find other people to visit Italy (Venice, Lake Garda, Verona, Vicenza), Paris, and NEW YORK with and my wandering feet have been temporarily satisfied. However, it's now over two years since I last left the UK and it's safe to say I need to get away soon! As much as I love Welsh and Cornish family holidays, there's nothing quite like a foreign country to make me happy.

Alright, whatever, I've been to Paris before. In fact, I've been twice. Once with school where I performed at Disneyland Paris (!!!) and once with my boyfriend. But I love it. I will never get sick of it. I love the food, I love the sights, I love the atmosphere. I love the Metro. I love all the memories I have there. I need to go back to Disneyland one day but my most burning desire is to go see the palace at Versailles where my favourite historical figure, Marie Antoinette, lived before her tragic end. This has to happen!

San Francisco
My desire to visit San Francisco was born out of my obsession with Charmed in my early teens. In between writing my very own Book of Shadows and watching every single episode that appeared on TV, I dreamed of seeing the Golden Gate Bridge or hopping on a tram up those humongous hills. In fact, it's not just San Francisco when I think about it. There whole West Coast of the US seems to have magnet in it which pulls me towards it.

Oh Japan...incredible fashion, gorgeous food, stunning scenery. Need I say more? Me and my sister vowed to save up together and go to Japan together when she was 18 but we're both hopeless at saving and only have two years left now before she's 18 so this might not happen. Well, not happen so soon anyway ;)

It's so sad that Egypt is experiencing such turmoil at the moment. Obviously I feel sorry for all the people caught up in conflict and violence there but I won't lie and say that there's not a selfish part of me who is a little pissed off she can't visit just yet. In year 3 I wrote a book all about the ancient Egyptians and I still have it to this day - I was and still am absolutely fascinated with them. I've even got Rosetta stone postcards and fridge magnets. Cleopatra was my main makeup inspiration aged 15 and definitely my second favourite after Marie Antoinette. Strong historical women rock! I need to see the pyramids before I die.

Great Barrier Reef
I'd love to go swimming here! I drool over pictures of the Great Barrier Reef. It's just so stunning. One of my lifelong dreams is to go swimming with sharks too so it'd be amazing to do that here.

These are just a fraction of the places I want to visit. I'd kill to go back to New York again! I want to go to the Caribbean, I want to go to Fiji, I want to go to Hawaii, I want to go to Bora Bora, The Maldives, Dubai - the list goes on and on.

What are your travel dreams?
