Arbonne FC5 Exfoliating New Cell Scrub [Product Review]

At the time of writing this post, I was an Arbonne Independent Consultant. To learn more about what this means, please click here.

Facial scrubs are one of my favourite parts of my skincare routine. While they are not a necessary part of anyone’s regime and I probably use mine too much, I can’t recommend them enough. In the past, I’ve been a big fan of Lush Ocean Salt, a beautifully scented, gritty and effective scrub. Naturally, I was eager to see how Arbonne’s offering compared.

The Arbonne FC5 Exfoliating New Cell Scrub has fast become one of my favourite Arbonne products. Like the entire FC5 range, this isn’t one for you if you like scentless skincare, but is definitely one for you if you’re a fan of beautiful scents. On application the cells in the product burst and it creates a gorgeous smell that I can’t get enough of. It’s a wonderful thing to wake up to in the morning.

Grit wise, this scrub has exactly the perfect amount. Ocean Salt tends to be very harsh on my skin, but the Exfoliating Cleanser from Superdrug’s B. was ever so slightly too gentle for my exfoliation needs. The FC5 scrub sits just in the middle of this: it’s gritty enough that I can feel it working, but without tearing my skin.

Because it has just the right amount of scrub to it, the results I’ve achieved with Arbonne’s facial scrub have been highly satisfactory. It works better than any moisturiser at removing dry skin, revealing soft, bright skin underneath. I like to use it in the morning best - it works wonders at removing the dead skin surrounding blemishes and means I get a much smoother, longer lasting application of makeup.
