It was May the last time I decided to sit down and set myself some monthly goals to achieve in a move towards becoming the best version of myself. Unfortunately, I completed failed in hitting those goals and until now, I haven't really thought about my Operation Supervixen project. Although generally I am in a much better place these days than I have been the past few years, I am still struggling when it comes to energy, motivation and organisation. This is why I haven't really been blogging regularly and why, eight months into 2016, I'm panicking because I feel like I haven't achieved anything. (I actually have achieved a lot, but that's a post for another day.)

So, I thought, it's about time I set myself some little targets to hit. Here they are:

Take breakfast, lunch and healthy snacks to work with me every day
For the first week of August, I managed to take some overnight oats, a homemade smoothie and a homemade salad or last night's leftovers to work. Not only did I have a very cost effective week, but I had a week of feeling very good too. I want to continue doing this to save money, help with my weight and overall feeling of well-being.

Go swimming once a week
Before I went on holiday for the last week of July, my housemate and I went for a swim. We enjoyed it so much we decided to make a pact to go for a weekly swim. Unfortunately this week our plans were thwarted by the arrival of my hideously annoying monthly visitor, but for the rest of August, I'd really like to keep my word. This is not only good for exercise, but it's nice to make friends with the people I live with!

For August, I am going to stick with these two simple goals. They will both help with my physical and mental health which is what Operation Supervixen is all about. Because it has been a while since I set any real goals, I want to ease myself back into the process. Hopefully I will have a positive update at the end of the month for you!
