I used to be a huge fan of E.L.F's brush cleanser spray. Unfortunately, it was a pain getting hold of it because you could only order it online and then for a while, you couldn't get E.L.F in the UK. By the time the brand had come back, the brush cleanser had halved in size but gone up in price.

It was time to find another solution.

I've used a fair amount of B. products and they're usually pretty good so I felt confident picking up the B. Makeup Brush Cleanser. At £4.99 it's not ridiculously expensive and I really like the well branded, simple packaging.

So how does it perform?

I've found this a really useful little tool to have in my makeup bag. Although I try my hardest to regularly deep clean my makeup brushes, we all know that doesn't always happen so it's good to have an alternative like a spray cleanser on hand to keep things hygienic in between washes. I spray the product onto a cotton pad and then wipe the brush clean on the pad.

It's particularly useful for eyeshadow and foundation brushes. I like to regularly change up the colour of eyeshadows I wear, and being able to clean the brush in between proper washes allows me to do this without using a huge number of brushes. I often find that after one or two applications of foundation, the brushes I use to apply it dramatically lose effectiveness, but using the B. Makeup Brush Cleanser prevents this from happening.

A little bit of the product goes a long way so the bottle, although it appears small, will last a long time.

I'm definitely going to repurchase this when it runs out!
