The quest for the perfect foundation continues! After trying a few drugstore foundations and not having much luck, I decided it was time to part with more money and go high end. I love Urban Decay eyeshadows and Primer Potion so wondered if the foundation was of the same quality. The All Nighter Foundation promises long wearing full coverage which is everything I ask for.

So, how did I get on?

First of all, I love the packaging, I think it's very on brand and feels quite luxe. It's also the type of pump that moves up the bottle as you use more product so you know you're not gonna be stuck with loads of product you can't get to at the end.

Secondly, it's the type of consistency I like. It's easy to distribute evenly over my skin but it doesn't feel watery at all, giving me confidence it's actually gonna be full coverage.

Once applied, my skintone is throughly evened out and my acne scars and redness are completely covered, hooray! The finish is ever slightly too matte for me, so I like to finish it off with some mineral powder from Lily Lolo to give me a more glowy look.

But how does it last?

At first, I was disappointed. After a few hours, it had slid off my nose and chin leaving me wishing I hadn't bothered.

But then, I changed my routine.

I ran out of primer and couldn't be bothered to buy more and I stopped using moisturiser (yeah, yeah, controversial, I know!)

The next time I used this...MY FOUNDATION LASTED ALL DAY.

Yes, that's right, my foundation lasted all day. And because my base was so good, it meant my blusher and highlighter lasted all day too. I went home from work feeling just as confident as I did when I left the house. I couldn't believe it!

Now don't get me wrong - it's not perfect. If I wear my glasses I do tend to lose coverage on my nose and on particularly hot days, sweat will win by the end of the day. I also need to be careful with hot or alcoholic drinks.

Otherwise though, I am super happy with this foundation. I am still toying with the idea of trying Estee Lauder Double Wear next but I think this is definitely a foundation I will repurchase. I'm so happy with it!
